The process of designing starts with a spark of an idea; ignited by awareness of relevant culture, travel, history, and consumer needs. Kathy Kuo starts most designs through initial hand sketches then creates meticulous technical drawings on the computer. Each design is then sent to one of hundreds of capable manufacturers from Asia to Europe for careful consideration and sampling. An initial prototype is created after 30 days, then the process of changing and development starts. Months of email correspondence and trips abroad ensure quality and aesthetic perfection. We commit to only purchasing small quantities of each design to offer to design savvy customers like you.
